Cheat! is the bike-control icon that a brand-new account picks up before the rider has learned the track. The global sample sits at 100 percent, so a weekend with zero penalties is rarer than the icon itself. The test is a single penalty, either for slicing a corner or for going around an obstacle the racing line was meant to respect. You do not need the win, a holeshot, a tuned suspension or a championship round. One illegal inside on a berm is enough.

Treat the first offline heat as the place this happens on purpose. MXGP grids go to 20 riders and the opening corner is crowded, which is exactly where a panicked cut appears. MX2 grids stop at 16, so the same mistake is a little easier to avoid, but the rule does not care about class. Online rooms stop at 10 and still hand out the same penalty. The Compound, the free-roam yard, has no checker and no penalty flag, so a scrub practice session will not tick this icon. You need a race.

Neighbours on the bike-control side are the low scrub, the fifty-metre wheelie and the finish while falling off. Those three ask for a deliberate input. Cheat! asks for a mistake the game has already decided to punish. Once it is ticked, stop hunting it. Clean Rider is the opposite job: a win with no respawn and no penalty at all. Players who already own Cheat! still have that clean win ahead of them, because 100 percent on the penalty and 1.9 percent on the clean race are measuring different evenings.

If you are setting up a private lobby to teach a friend the track limits, warn them before the gate. A shortcut that looks faster on the replay is the usual way this icon arrives. The day-one PC patch did not remove penalties, and it did not add a new way to erase them. Ride the white lines, or accept that the first cut is part of learning Loket, Riola Sardo or whichever circuit you chose for the evening.
